Creating the Image and Lighting the Interview
Registration required.
The first class will explore creative choices made from
the collaboration of cinematographer and director including
lighting, camera placement, lens choices, etc. and their
impact on story telling. It will be an introduction to the
art of cinematography.
The second class will be a hands-on workshop discussing
practical lighting techniques that you can use in your
own productions. For interview lighting, we will look at
three point lighting, key lights, fill lights, and back
lighting for professional results (including insights learned
from great painters such as Rembrandt).
Registration is $50 for either morning or afternoon double sessions.
A full-day registration for all four sessions is available for $90.
