Barbara Avedon Hammer wrote the Movie of the Week pilot for and co-created
the series Cagney and Lacey. Ms. Avedon was also the executive story
consultant for Trapper John, M.D., Fish, and Harper Valley
PTA. Along with Donna Reed, Barbara co-chaired and founded Another
Mother for Peace.
