Grover Asmus met Donna Reed at a mutual friend's dinner party and they
were married in 1974. He graduated from the United States Military Academy
at West Point in 1946. He served in the U.S. Army until 1972, attaining
the rank of Colonel. He had many assignments including Senior Aide to General
Omar Bradley. Most recently he headed his own company providing management
consulting services to companies engaged in oil field work in the Far East.
In 1991 Grover married Betty Carey. Grover has played a major role in seeing
that the Donna Reed Foundation for the Performing Arts has become a reality.
Grover is President Emeritus of the Board of Directors for the Donna Reed
Foundation.
