A graduate from DePaul University with a master's degree in Flute Performance, Eliza is serving as a music library intern for the Grant Park Symphony Orchestra. She is also a substitute flutist with the Civic Orchestra of Chicago and the New World Symphony Orchestra in Miami. She plans to begin auditioning for professional orchestra positions in the fall. Eliza Bangert was a 2001 Donna Reed Foundation Iowa Scholar from Donnellson, Iowa.
