 Merit Awards

It is possible
to follow your dreams
with integrity, courtesy, equity, and humanity.

Each year, the Donna Reed Foundation for the Performing Arts grants scholarship merit awards to Iowa high school students (grades 10-12) who qualify for post-secondary education and desire to pursue an education or a career in the performing arts. The Foundation continues its long tradition of recognition programs for excellence including a history of national and regional competitions, many culminating in Scholarship Concert performances before judges and live audiences.

Thank you for you interest in the 2024 Iowa Merit Awards for Dramatic Performance. The submission deadline for all application materials is May 31, 2024 for all students.  Final review decisions will be made by September 2024.  Full submission details are available in the application forms below (select a preferred format):
