Donna Reed Scholar cast in Broadway Production.
Ben Rappaport, a 2004 Donna Reed Scholarship national finalist in acting, has been cast in Doug Wright’s Good Night, Oscar which will play a 20-week limited engagement at Broadway's Belasco Theatre this spring.
Will & Grace Emmy winner Sean Hayes will star as actor and pianist Oscar Levant, with Ben Rappaport (Fiddler on the Roof and Picnic) in the role of TV host Jack Paar.
The play is set in 1958 while Jack Paar is hosting The Tonight Show. He’s booked his favorite guest, Oscar Levant. In 90 minutes, Levant will have audiences howling, censors scrambling, and—when it’s all over—America will be just a little less innocent than she was before.
