Donna recreates title role


July 21, 1950 - MGM Theatre of the Air broadcasts My Dear Miss Aldrich with Donna Reed.

The MGM Theater of the Air was a one-hour radio dramatic anthology in the United States. It was broadcast on WMGM in New York City and syndicated to other stations via electrical transcription from October 14, 1949 to December 7, 1951.


My Dear Miss Aldrich (1937) is a low-budget comedy film starring Maureen O'Sullivan, Walter Pidgeon, and Edna May Oliver about a young woman who inherits a New York City newspaper and decides to become a reporter rather than a publisher. Donna Reed recreates the title role of Maureen O'Sullivan.
