June 15, 1945 - Donna Reed marries Tony Owen.
Donna Reed and Tony Owen were wed in a ceremony at the Community Presbyterian Church in Beverly Hills. It was attended by a dozen people, including her acting coach, Lillian Burns, and MGM's head of productions, Louis B. Mayer. Lavone Mullenger, Donna's sister, was the maid of honor.
An hour later Mayer saw Judy Garland and Vincente Minelli married in the same church by the same minister.
Both couples then boarded the same train, their compartments adjoining, bound for Chicago and New York.

The Wedding Day piece on the Donna Reed site captures the timeless charm of ceremonies, emphasizing how love and tradition intertwine to create unforgettable memories. It highlights the emotional depth of such milestones, reminding us that weddings are more than events—they’re turning points in life. Much like Slope game, where every sharp turn demands focus and adaptability, a wedding day requires balance between joy, planning, and spontaneity to make the experience truly meaningful.
What a wonderful look back at Donna Reed’s wedding ceremony and the Hollywood figures who were part of that special moment. It’s amazing how these preserved memories help us connect with another era, and I enjoy playing Crazy Cattle 3D occasionally when I want a simple way to unwind.
I notice colorful stages and physics-based movements in ragdoll drop. I control the ragdoll by timing my taps carefully.
