A departing thought
I am deeply grateful for the 24 years I have spent volunteering with The Donna Reed Foundation in various capacities. However, all good things must come to an end. It's time to retire.
For the past 15 years, I have managed the Foundation’s blog under the pseudonym JP. This will be my final post as I step down from this position. It has been a pleasure sharing my posts about Donna Reed with you, and I wish you all the best in 2026.

I have played this game when I was happy, sad, stressed, and bored, and it always made me feel better afterwards. There is something about the rhythm of surfing that just lifts your spirits no matter what. Wave Rider is like a mood booster in digital form.
