Donna appears with a man of integrity

Alexander Knox
Alexander Knox

Alexander Knox (January 16, 1907 – April 25, 1995).

Alexander Knox was a Canadian actor on stage, screen, and occasionally television. He was nominated for an Oscar and won a Golden Globe for his performance as Woodrow Wilson in the film Wilson (1944).

For most of his career, Knox tended to be typecast as a man of integrity (though he did play the odd villain): stern authority figures, psychiatrists, academics, and politicians because of his inherently sincere on-screen personality.

He appears with Donna Reed in Saturday’s Hero (1951).
