Donna's historically misleading film

Donna Reed and Charlton Heston

Charlton Heston (October 4, 1923 – April 5, 2008).

Charlton Heston was an American actor and political activist. He appeared in almost 100 films over the course of 60 years.

He teams with Donna Reed, Fred MacMurray, and Barbara Hale in The Far Horizons (1955). In 2011, Time Magazine rated it as one of the top ten most historically misleading films, in part due to its casting of caucasian Donna Reed as Native American Sacagawea, and the creation of a romantic subplot between her character and William Clark despite the fact that Sacagawea's husband, French-Canadian trader Toussaint Charbonneau, was in real life also a member of the expedition.
