Red Skelton (July 18, 1913 - September 17, 1997).
Richard "Red" Skelton was an American entertainer best known for his national radio and television shows from 1937 to 1971, particularly as the host of "The Red Skelton Show." He received stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for his work in both radio and television. In addition to his work in entertainment, Skelton performed in burlesque, vaudeville, films, nightclubs, and casinos. He also pursued a separate career as an artist, becoming well-known for his many paintings of clowns.
Skelton appears with Donna Reed in the musical comedy film, Thousands Cheer (1943).
