We came across this gem in the Donna Reed Heritage Museum/Archive. That's Tony and Emmy Award nominee Brandon Victor Dixon riding a float in the 1999 Donna Reed Festival parade. He was a Donna Reed Foundation National Scholarship Finalist in that year's competition.
Dixon is known for singing the role of Judas in NBC’s Emmy-winning Jesus Christ Superstar Live in Concert and his role of Aaron Burr in the hit Broadway musical Hamilton. He currently stars in the off-Broadway production of Black No More as Max Disher, a Black man searching for identity in racist America.
