Robert Hudson Walker (October 13, 1918 – August 28, 1951)

Robert Walker was an American actor, best remembered for his starring role in Alfred Hitchcock's thriller Strangers on a Train (1951), which was released shortly before his death.

He starred with Donna Reed in See Here, Private Hargrove (1944), along with Keenan Wynn. The title role of Pvt Hargrove was originally intended for Mickey Rooney. The film was adapted from the 1942 memoir of the same name by Marion Hargrove, a journalist who entered the Army intending to supplement his income by writing about his training experiences.
