Nicholas Meyer, an American writer and director, is known for his best-selling novel The Seven-Per-Cent Solution, and for directing the films Time After Time, two of the Star Trek feature films, the 1983 television film The Day After, and the 1999 HBO original film Vendetta.
Meyer, a theater and filmmaking graduate of the University of Iowa, has been a workshop instructor at the Donna Reed Festival in Donna's hometown of Denison, Iowa.
