Virginia Christine
Virginia Christine as "Mrs. Olson"

Virginia Christine (March 5, 1920 – July 24, 1996).

Virginia Christine (born Virginia Christine Ricketts) was an American stage, radio, film, television, and voice actress from Stanton, Iowa. Though Christine had a long career as a character actress in film and television, she is probably best remembered as "Mrs. Olson" (or the "Folger's Coffee Woman") in a string of television commercials for Folger's Coffee during the 1960s and '70s.

Watch as she guests in “The Baby Contest” (Season 1, Episode 11) of The Donna Reed Show as a mother ashamed of her "homely" baby (actually, he looks fine).

I enjoyed learning about Virginia Christine and her role as Mrs Olson in The Donna Reed Show and how she became an iconic face of 1960s TV commercials. After reading classic television histories like this, I usually play Subway Surfers PC which is a fast paced endless runner game that helps me relax and sharpen reflexes.
