Ben Gage (October 29, 1914 - April 28, 1978).

Ben Gage was an American radio singer and announcer, occasional off-screen film singer dubbing the voice of non-singing actors, and television actor active from 1937 to 1975. He is known for his work on State Fair (1945), My Gal Sal (1942), and Star Trek: The Original Series (1966). He was married to film star Esther Williams.


Watch as he guest-stars on The Donna Reed Show in "The Hero" (Season 1, the Episode 30) playing the part of Alex's old college roommate who comes to visit.
