Kathryn Givney (October 27, 1896 – March 16, 1978).
Kathryn Givney was an American character actress on stage and in films. She was known for A Place in the Sun (1951), My Friend Irma (1949), and Daddy Long Legs (1955).
Watch as she guest-stars on The Donna Reed Show in "The House on the Hill" (Season 5, Episode 24) playing the part of Mrs. Allison, a wealthy recluse who hasn’t left her home in years. Donna visits the elderly woman in what is reported to be a haunted house and finds herself trapped there against her will.
